About us.
Terra Botanix was founded on a simple belief: exceptional medicinal cannabis begins with healthy, living soil.
While most commercial cultivation relies on synthetic fertilisers and inert growing media, our indoor facility has been purpose-built around Living Soil Organic (LSO) cultivation—a biological approach that works with nature rather than replacing it. By growing our plants in a thriving microbial soil ecosystem, and combining this with the advantages of indoor environmental control, we create a hybrid cultivation model that balances nature and precision.
Although living soil principles are well established among craft growers overseas, true indoor-LSO medicinal cannabis remains exceptionally rare in Australia. Terra Botanix is helping pioneer this philosophy within the Australian medicinal cannabis industry.
Every aspect of our cultivation environment has been designed to support plant health, consistency, and quality. Rather than chasing maximum yields or rapid production cycles, we focus on producing flower with exceptional terpene expression and cannabinoid consistency.
To us, it is not about replicating what has already been done—it is about pursuing better patient outcomes and contributing to a more sustainable future for medicinal cannabis production.

Our Goals
01
Quality Over Volume
Our focus is simple: Australian-grown medicinal cannabis produced at a craft scale that allows for meticulous oversight of every stage of production. Operating under controlled indoor conditions with living soil principles, we prioritise quality over volume in response to growing demand for more naturally produced cannabis. Importantly, this attention to detail extends through to post-harvest handling, where final quality is often determined.
02
Sustainable Cannabis Cultivation
We recognise the obligation to ensure our impact to the environment is minimal, if not regenerative. Through combining an innovative indoor capacity with regenerative soil horticulture practices we aim for zero to minimal off-farm inputs. Some of our mitigation strategies include composting waste, implementing a large commercial solar system, capturing and recycling our water, as well as operating within an efficiently designed and purpose-built facility.
03
Support Australia’s Production
With over 80% of medicinal cannabis in Australia currently sourced from imports, there is a growing need to strengthen reliable domestic supply. Increasingly, patients and prescribers are looking to local producers that offer greater transparency and freshness. We aim to help bridge this gap by providing Australian-grown medicinal cannabis that strengthens supply chain confidence through consistency and shorter harvest-to-release timelines.
